A year after winning just 24 games, then drawing bad luck in the draft lottery, the Celtics completed the most dramatic turnaround in NBA history with a Game 6 blowout that was equally impressive.

NEW YORK (AP) -The Knicks signed first-round draft pick Danilo Gallinari on Tuesday and expect to have him ready to play in summer league games next week in Las Vegas.

The 6-foot-8 Gallinari, who turns 20 before the season starts, is a versatile offensive player who led his team, Armani Jeans of Milan, with 17.5 points per game.

Clippers sign free agent Brian Skinner

The 32-year-old Skinner is the latest in a long line of additions to the team this summer, joining Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, Ricky Davis, Jason Hart and first-round draft pick Eric Gordon.

“Brian Skinner is a veteran NBA player who will give us both size and depth in the middle,” Clippers general manager Elgin Baylor said in a statement. “We are familiar with Brian, and know that he will be a good fit in his return to the Clippers.”

Lakers agree to terms with Chinese guard Sun Yue

Lakers spokesman John Black declined Saturday to discuss details of the terms and said it could be some time before a contract is signed.

The 6-foot-9, 212-pound Sun was the Lakers’ second-round draft pick last year. He played with the Aoshen club in Beijing and with the Chinese national team before the Olympics.
